My Mission

At ‘What is Your Story Hypnotherapy,’ our mission is to empower individuals to rewrite the narratives that shape their lives through hypnosis. Through personalised hypnotherapy sessions, we aim to unlock the power of the subconscious mind, helping clients overcome obstacles, heal from past traumas, and forge new paths towards wellness and fulfilment.

When individuals adjust their mindset from what was holding them back to what they want to achieve, they can discover their true potential and live more authentic, joyful lives. By rewriting their stories to achieve the change they want. Our commitment is to guide each person on their unique journey of healing, change, and growth, with self-hypnosis, empathy, professionalism, and confidentiality at the heart of all we do.

My Story

I’m Charlotte Jane Grimaldi Phillips, a Clinical Hypnotherapy Practitioner and a Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioner. What Is Your Story Hypnotherapy is based in the beautiful cathedral city of Salisbury, Wiltshire, UK. I meet with clients in Salisbury, UK and online. I’m a solution-focused hypnotherapist, and I use Cognitive behavioural Hypnotherapy (CBH) and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). I’m also an AMPG Change Management Practitioner.

My career background is 25+ years in copywriting, marketing communications, events, digital, and agile projects in financial services.

I am a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) and the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR). I was a Fashion Design student.

I have been a film extra in Sense and Sensibility, The Borrowers and To Kill A King. I love 1960s music and collect vinyl records.
I became a therapist in 2009, taking Reiki courses. I became a Reiki Master and Reiki Teacher in 2017. I studied as a Clinical Hypnotherapy Practitioner and a Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioner Diploma from 2021 to 2022 at Adam Eason’s Anglo European College of Therapeutic Hypnosis. I regularly attend the Anglo European College of Therapeutic Hypnosis hub and the annual UK Hypnosis Convention to keep up with the latest research, studies, and hypnotherapy techniques. I enjoy life, and I am passionate about helping people achieve the life they desire.

I love empowering people with hypnotherapy and self-hypnosis to help facilitate the change they desire.

I changed my mindset about how I viewed running and that I didn’t have any spare time to do sports activities. I started running in 2019. I have run a few 10k races and a half marathon all for charities. I regularly run 5km a few times a week to keep fit and healthy.

Running helps me physically and mentally. Running has helped me release stress and set myself up for the day/week. I have found that exercise really helps with life’s overwhelm, and stress. It helps me feel energised. In the first 5 minutes of my runs, there can be a bit of resistance, but once I’ve pushed past the out-of-breath feeling, and got my breathing in a rhythm and stopped my resistance, I’m in the flow of running. I find that this is with most things in life there can be a resistance to change, but when we have practiced what we want to do a couple of times we are in the flow of it and it becomes easier. it is embedding a change, a new habit into our routine.
